Norman County is located in the northwestern region of the great state of Minnesota, and it was established on February 17, 1881. The county is named after Norman W. Kittson, an early fur trader, and it spans an area of approximately 877 square miles. The county seat is located in the city of Ada, which is also the largest city in the county.
