Belgrade, Minnesota is a small village in the state of Minnesota with a population of just over 700 people. Here are some interesting facts about Belgrade:

1. The village is named after the capital city of Serbia, Belgrade.

2. The village was incorporated as a city in 1881.

3. Belgrade is home to the Green Lake Bible Camp, which has been in operation since 1935.

4. The village holds an annual summer festival, the Belgrade August Fest, which includes a parade, car show, live music, and more.

5. Belgrade is known for its production of Christmas trees and is home to the Minnesota State Christmas Tree Farm.

6. The town has a unique landmark, a water tower painted to look like a giant beach ball.

7. One of the oldest and continuously operating general stores in the state of Minnesota is located in Belgrade. It is called "Nelson's Store" and has been in operation since 1895.

8. Belgrade has one of only two remaining covered bridges in Minnesota, which is located on County Road 33.

9. Many of the buildings in Belgrade are on the National Register of Historic Places and the village is home to numerous historic sites such as the Belgrade Opera House, which was built in 1900.
