Hoke County is a county located in the southeastern region of the great state of North Carolina. Established in 1911, the county was formed from parts of Cumberland and Robeson counties. Hoke County's creation was partly influenced by the advocacy of Robert Hoke, a Confederate general, for whom the county was named.

The county seat and largest city in Hoke County is Raeford.
