A USDA loan is a mortgage option available to eligible homebuyers that is sponsored by the United States Department of Agriculture to promote homeownership in rural communities. Virginia ratified the 1787 United States Constitution on June 25th, 1788 where the state capitol today resides in Richmond.

The official Virginia motto is "Sic Semper Tyrannis" which means "Thus Always To Tyrants" in Latin. It is believed to have originated from Brutus' words after he assassinated Julius Caesar in 44 BC. The phrase was made popular again in 1865 when John Wilkes Booth, an actor and Confederate sympathizer, shouted "Sic Semper Tyrannis" after assassinating President Abraham Lincoln. Virginia adopted the phrase as its official motto in 1776 as a reminder of the citizens' opposition to tyranny.
