Trafton has been in the housing and real estate business since 1995. After graduating college, he gained knowledge of homes and construction as a trim carpenter, renovator of existing homes, and then a superintendent of new construction. This knowledge of construction allowed him to personally buy and renovate historic homes and invest in new construction; including an Avon beach home while residing in Raleigh. Trafton simultaneously enjoyed a successful career as a NC State Certified Residential Appraiser and co-owner of Reynolds Residential Appraisers.Trafton obtained his NC Real Estate Brokers License in 2009. After working with two local real estate companies in sales, he and his wife opened NC 12 Realty which has fulfilled his ultimate destination.Trafton provides a perfect blend of experience in valuation and real estate knowledge with 110% effort, ethics, and integrity. He prides himself in helping clients meet their goals and considers himself blessed to live on Hatteras Island with his wife, Carla, and two wonderful kids.
