Wendy grew up in Cleveland, Ohio, and graduated from Miami University with a B.S. in business. In 2000, she became an Alexandria, VA resident and immediately fell in love with the charm and history of the Washington, DC and Northern Virginia area.

She spent the first decade and a half of her career specializing in non-profit marketing and event management. The skills she honed in this field, including contract negotiation, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple responsibilities under tight deadlines made her transition into real estate a natural fit.

Wendy joined McEnearney Associates in Spring 2013. She has earned the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors Top Producer designation each year since then. She serves as a member of McEnearneys Agent Advisory Board, and participates in McEnearneys mentorship program, a training program that pairs seasoned realtors with new associates.

She and her husband share a passion for renovating old homes, and are currently working to restore their 1880s row house in Old Town Alexandria as well as a 1908 Foursquare outside the Beltway.

Between house projects, they run a successful DIY blog, OldTownHomewww, providing renovation tips and tutorials, decorating advice, and a glimpse into the charm and character of Old Town Alexandria and surrounding areas, as well as insight into the ups and downs of DIY renovation.

A self confessed home and design enthusiast, Wendy has been featured on the DIY network as well as in several online and print publications, including Alexandria Living magazine, the cover of Old House Journal magazine, The Washington Post, Washingtonian magazine, Northern Virginia Magazine, Apartment Therapy, the Alexandria Times, and LORE Magazine. In addition, she has worked for HGTV Magazine to develop a custom interior design project, and her home was featured on the Scottish Christmas Walk Designer Tour of Homes in Old Town Alexandria.

Areas served include Northern Virginia, DC.
