I hired Jane Lee to sell my house at Vernon Hills. She basically bullied me to get her commission. Instead of representing me as my agent, she rushed me to sign. She doesn't care about YOU. She didn't care about me. I'm not being naive. I know that all agents work for themselves to earn their commission. But, she surely cares only about her commission. You will see. She and her whole team are unprofessional. She didn't disclose important things in contracts up front with me. They opened my fridge and drank without my permission at an open house. Quick process, clear on work needed in property to sell. Top rated vendor lists were provided to us without even asking, that Jane's office has worked with on several occasions. Once the changes that were suggested were made, the property sold within just a couple of weeks. We lived out of town and the team offered to send someone in weekly to do inspections on the property and to check temperature, water, lights ect. Members of Jane's team were in place for every part of our process to ensure that we were kept updated and that every need that we had was met. They are busy but never once pushed us off or acting as if we were just a number or a case. I can't say enough good things about Jane and her team. The service she and her team provides is impeccable. We contacted Jane on a Saturday, she was our house on Sunday with an entire book analyzing the value of our house, her stager was at our house Monday, her photographer was at our house Tuesday, and the house was on the market Wednesday. When Jane was over on Sunday, she told us exactly what we could list the house for and what we could get for it if we want it to sell quickly. She was honest and didn't try to get us to believe we could get more for the house just to get us to sign an exclusive contract with her and once we do ask us to keep lowering the price. The price she told us was exactly what we were hoping to get for the house and sure enough within a week we were under contract for exactly what we wanted to get for the house. n nA lot of people complained in their reviews that they didn't get enough direct exposure to Jane. Jane has a different expert dedicated to every step of the process and I thought it was better to deal with an entire team than just Jane. For example, Jane has someone stage for her, someone else take pictures for her, someone else responsible for looking for and responding to showing requests and setting up showings, and closing managers dedicated to making sure the closing goes smoothly.
