I met Joe Reisenauer at the Fernley golf course which was great because I was new to the Fernley area and did not really know many people. Joe and I quickly became friends and Joe would always include me when he was setting up tee times. Joe is involved in the Fernley community and takes pride in finding the right home for his clients, Joe really cares for the people he works with and wants to make sure his clients are happy with their home purchase. We found our current home listed online and sent an inquiry email. Joe responded quickly and we set up a date and time to meet to view the property. Since it was a HUD foreclosure, we had to move extremely quickly. Joe was completely on top of the process the entire way, from bid to close. We met Joe and saw a handful of homes the first day. The home we purchased ended up being one of those! Even just that first day, I could tell he was responsive to what we were looking for, insightful on features that would pertain to us, and patient to let us look through and see what we thought. He was extremely flexible and got us the showings quickly for the evening requested. He gave us many comparable listings and even gave us an idea of the value of the included water rights of our property based on a recent water appraisal. He was able to answer many questions and/or find out the answer if he didn't know it. He was always great at communicating via text,call, or email what was being done on his end and got things done in a timely manner. We did not need to negotiate with the seller, as we felt it necessary to offer the asking price, but I feel he would be good at recommending a reasonable offer to negotiate with the seller if needed.
Joe is an amiable guy, easy to talk to, and was friendly to us and our young kids. He attended almost every inspection (even when we weren't) and was able to set up an excellent handyman to fix necessary repairs.
