This was a horrible experience. We were told by Kari that we missed the sellers market so when an offer came in we felt compelled to take it. The house did sell but unfortunately we found out after the sale that it sold for about 20,000 less than what it should have. We were never guided by Kari and were also not told that sellers in the State of Maryland are subject to contributing more proceeds to a first-time home buyer which decreased our overall net proceeds from the house even more. We are deeply disappointed by this agent and the transaction and certainly cannot recommend. 2018

Namely, how the house is marketed. Kari used a professional photographer so I immediately noticed the difference in pictures from the last agent. We were popping up on many websites so we were getting exposure. We were also getting traffic which was refreshing. We had lowered the price to a more realistic expectation which is what was helping the traffic. That is where the experience of reading the comps is important. After about 2 weeks we had a contract on the house and eventually closed on the house. Very pleasant experience so I would highly recommend Kari Shank. 2018

Having been a full-time realtor in another State 30 years ago one of the most frustrating situations was dealing with other agents basically trying to "kill the deal".
