I already wrote a review, but I would like to add something important for condo owners and those with other homes in HOAs. Our condo association and the condo management company had to get involved in the sale of our condo due to roof issues that arose after we accepted an offer and were under contract. Karen was outstanding in initiating and coordinating communication among all involved parties, while still maintaining good will and cooperation to get the issues resolved. She juggled this task along with everything else she did to help us sell our home successfully. 2021
Karen was recommended to us by another condo resident, and we enthusiastically recommend her in turn. She is incredibly hard-working, making herself readily available by whatever means of communication is necessary, and never making us feel that we were bothering her or wasting her time with questions and concerns of any kind. She gave us sound guidance in choosing our asking price (and brought in potential buyers able to meet/exceed it). Although at times I felt enormous pressure and anxiety for one thing or another, Karen never failed to come up with solutions and assistance for solving what seemed like insurmountable problemsand helping me breathe much easier. One time, when our refrigerator was disabled for a lengthy time, she and her teenage son even came in the evening and carried a compact fridge from our 4th to 2nd floor, but not before offering us an extra fridge of her own! I cannot speak more highly of Karen. Of the five realtors we had used as buyers in the Cleveland housing market over the past 29 years I can honestly say that she was the most knowledgeable, hardworking, and honest. I appreciated her in-depth knowledge of home building, value for the money, and professionalism.
We are moving back to Cleveland from an international assignment and had only 6 days to see homes. She provided us with the opportunity to see approximately 70 homes in total over a large region including: Shaker Heights, Cleveland Heights, Brecksville, Independence, Pepper Pike, Beachwood, Orange, Solon, Bratenal, South Euclid, and Edgewater.
I noted that her emails and texts came to us often times as late as 1 or 2 a.m. and as early as 6 a.m. the following day. I don't know how she managed on such little sleep but her mannerism was always pleasant, and considerate, and professional even when we add five extra areas for her to research and show us homes in at the last minute.
She gave us invaluable advice when looking at homes and for the home we ended up purchasing. From the feedback I gathered, she deservedly is held in high esteem amongst her colleagues and contractors alike.
She has gone above and beyond the call of duty after the purchase of our home to help locate contractors to work on our newly purchased property while we were stationed overseas so that the work could be accomplished in a timely manner before we arrived.
Moreover, she worked closely with the homeowners association and the City of Shaker Heights to see how the improvements to our home could be made with their blessing in our stead.
She also helped us in looking for rental properties since we were not sure if we were going to be able to buy a house in the short period of time we had allocated for house hunting.
She responds quickly and follows through when I ask for help. I don't know what more I can say other than WOW.
