My wife and I had previously bought and sold three different houses, but we'd never attempted to buy a house in a different state before, so we were nervous about the process. A friend told us we should contact Liz Asbury and we're so glad we did! She's an excellent communicator, so we never felt like we were out of the loop, even though we were halfway across the country when we started the process. When we arrived in Asheville, we were still getting to know the area, so the initial batch of houses we wanted to look at were spread out all over the place. This didn't faze Liz at all. She also did a great job of advocating for us when it came time to put in an offer and negotiate repairs during the due diligence process. She knew all the contractors we needed to contact and even helped us schedule them. For many of our interactions my rambunctious eight-year-old was present but Liz rolled with the craziness. All in all, she made what could have been a stressful experience into a fun and enjoyable one!
