There are not enough adjectives to begin describing how Arlene's actions in my recent home purchase. She was the listing agent on a property I was purchasing, the house was being relisted for the third time after the two previous buyers couldn't secure financing supposedly. Throughout the process, Arlene constantly questioned if I, a single woman, could afford the property (people still think like this in 2022!) and continuously harassed my lender. I was not able to go back to the property for measurements or a discussion with my contractor because Arlene was so difficult. As the finance contingency neared, I realized the previous buys probably saw it as a way of not having to deal with Arlene, Please believe I thought long and hard about moving forward. i even called the managing broker of Atlanta Communities, but she made excuses for the poor behavior. Arlene was still questioning my financing the day of close after receiving the all clear. If you want to have your house sit on the market and have it represented by a clown, then Arlene is your woman, If not, run from this lady as fast as you can. She made my process a nightmare. It burns me up that she got paid off my purchase.
