When the above question asks about a Recommendation from friend/relative does that include raves about Craig Burnett from everyone we speak to related to a sale? Where Craig Burnett goes, we go - by that we mean, that dealing with the brokerage is less important to us than dealing with Craig...and only Craig. This is our third transaction with him in the last eight years.
We just cant say enough good things about Craig Burnett, which is heard uniformly from stagers, escrow agents etc involved with this transaction to other agents, who, without fail, say Hes the best. We of course knew this already from working with Craig in our two prior home transactions (one selling our San Anselmo home at the best price in a tough market, and one buying the home we just sold through him eight years ago). Craig is good at prompt reply or giving new, updated information in process. At closing buyer did not want to sign each detail. Craig went to extra effort to protect us by checking with Zephyr higher up and/or lawyer to be sure that buyer reluctance to sign was recognized and buyer agreed to all details of contract so that we could close Escrow. We appreciated this final extra attention to detail that followed Craig's excellence throughout the whole sale.
Because of other real estate company estimates on line, we had thought the sale list price might have been higher. Craig provided us with data on area homes comparable to ours,, arranged for CAMO visit to our property. After that we agreed to the list price Craig suggested and after some competitive bidding decided to go to contract. The Escrow was amazingly short since buyer was eager and had cash to close deal within a week. It is interesting that Zephyr also recently sold 2 other homes next to us. We will encourage others to use Zephyr and Craig in particular, if we learn of others wanting agents in Marin.
2 years ago we thought we might be selling and move to house in Santa Rosa. Craig introduced the requirements in process of selling our home at that time. However and fortunately the week before the fires we decided we really did not want responsibility of another house. In 2018 we decided to move to a condo and asked Craig to be our agent to sell our house. The previous information we had digested a bit. The follow up this year from Craig has been informative.
