I met Paula about a year before we actually worked with her to sell our home. We were moving unexpectedly and wanted to weigh all of our options. From the first interaction with Paula, I was nothing shy of impressed. She had a wealth of knowledge about real estate, specifically in the Corpus Christi area. We chose the best one and the rest of the process was seamless. Anytime we had a question, we got our answer immediately. Paula was readily available from start to finish. I was so impressed with her work that I reached out to multiple friends and told them when it was their time to sell, Paula was who they wanted to represent them.

Paula was friendly and kind during every interaction, most importantly she was honest. She didn't sugar coat a single thing she told us which we were thankful for. Following the inspection, the buyer wanted multiple small issues corrected. I had a long talk with Paula and told her how small these issues were which she was well aware of. I submitted a small but fair counter to pay for the repairs. She told me to be prepared for the buyer to counter, but to give us our best chance, she would call the buyer's agent to explain just how easy these issues were to correct. Within hours, our counter was accepted. I was quite surprised and willing to go higher, but I think her phone call to the other agent helped us progress without an issue.

I could not have been more pleased with the sale of this home. It was listed in a timely manner, it sold over asking price, and Paula was able to help us close early.

Paula Gaut exceeded my highest expectations of what a Realtor could do. As an extremely busy military member and out-of-state seller living in Washington, I thought I would have to take leave from service and fly to Texas in order to get my house repaired and work out the closing details. She found a buyer in a few weeks with a full price cash offer, and then did all of the legwork to keep the yard mowed and get the repairs done in order to satisfy the buyer and close the deal. She used her negotiating skills to have a contingency removed when the risk was becoming too high for us late in the deal while the sale was still pending. She timed the repairs with the vendor to allow the $3,000 repair bill to come out of closing proceeds on the HUD statement so that I would not have the headache of cash flowing it before closing. She consistently followed up with me via text messages whenever she needed my input for vendor approval or to complete paperwork. Every time I contacted her with a text, email, or phone call, her response was within the hour - even once when I emailed her at 11:30 PM her time! I would say that I only invested about 2 hours of my own time over the course of the two months it took to complete this transaction, and she did everything else. It was simply unbelievable - she truly is the Best of the Best! Thank you Paula Gaut, we will never forget you!
