Brittany was amazing during our buying and selling process. We had a difficult deal to navigate that involved careful timing and planning. Brittany helped us sell our home and get an amazing price. She also facilitated us buying our new home and negotiated some difficult terrain and customers in the process. She was able to smoothly change our terms as needed and worked hard to make sure we got what we needed and wanted. Brittany handled frustrations with grace and gratitude. Say No to Breach of Contract, a seller from Whispering Pines, NC
If you are a seller and Brittany brings a client to offer to purchase your house, be careful, especially if it is not a straight forward sale. She was the buyers' agent for the sale of our mother's house and she asked to let the buyers have early access to the property to remove carpeting and later on, asking remove the popcorn ceiling material and repaint the ceilings. We agreed to allow those two renovations in the contract anything else was prohibited. From the start, the buyers materially violated the terms of the contract including removing the water heater, removing walls down to studs and insulation. Brittany was made aware of the violations from our real estate agent and was told to stop the work but she apparently did nothing to stop her clients actions as the violations continued until the day of closing. I sent a representative to do a compliance inspection to identify if they buyers were continuing to violate the terms of the contract and they were. The buyer called Brittany and according to my representative, Brittany told my representative that she was trespassing and that the buyers could have her arrested for trespassing (which was wrong since we were still the owners). It is clear Brittany as a buyers agent will not protect the sellers interest even when she knows her clients are in material violation of the contract and that through her we ordered work to be stopped and it didn't happen.
