I truly cannot say enough good things about Samantha and how excellent she is! When my husband and I decided we were ready to start the home buying process, we were feeling lost. We are young and knew nothing about the process. Samantha came at the recommendation of a good friend of ours, whose opinion we highly respect. I was immediately impressed after our first meeting with Samantha - she was incredibly organized, thorough, and her attention to detail is unmatched. There was such a sense of relief - we could tell instantly that we were in great hands. As someone who is highly organized and also thorough, I loved that she shared a PDF with us that had extensive details on the process and what to expect to share with her clients.
We had a long closing, we went under contract the second week of February and didn't close until the last week of April. We worked with a loan officer that she works with frequently and it went smoothly, but unfortunately, he ended up leaving the company he was at about a month before closing, which made things a little messy. The folks who took over our account encountered a few hiccups, and Samantha stepped in as soon as she heard there may be an issue. She didn't have to do this, but she made sure she was involved and checking in every step of the way before closing. She is excellent at communicating and follows up quickly, and she also works incredibly fast overall. She constantly checked in throughout the process and answered all of our questions (and we had so many!). She would also always get our offers in right away for us.

It's clear Samantha is well known and respected in her field, too, which makes all the difference, especially in Rhode Island! We started looking in January and by February 9th we were under contract and beat out 30+ other offers on our home thanks to Samantha's knowledge and guidance. She was familiar with the area and knew the home was underpriced - she was confident in the actual value of the home, and therefore helped us submit a great offer. The seller's agent had also worked with Samantha in the past and knew that Samantha was excellent to work with.
Once under contract, Samantha connected us with an incredible inspector and continuously offers suggestions if we're in need of anything - contractor, plumber, you name it! We actually had an asbestos scare after closing and Samantha suggested an abatement company that came out the same day and had test results back in under 24 hours - it was such a relief to have such a fast turnaround and overall good experience for something that was pretty scary.
All that being said, Samantha really is just such a wonderful person to have in your corner. We lost our first two offers and she was so reassuring - she was confident we'd be getting into a home quickly, despite the market being so chaotic. We trusted her but also were a little worried still because of the way the market was, but she was so right. Within a week of her saying that we were under contract.
She was such an incredible asset to this process - we would have been lost without her, and I am confident we would have not ended up in this incredible home without all of her hard work. She's kind, honest, and really knows what she is doing. I am looking forward to working with her again in the future (hopefully many years down the line, because we LOVE our new home!). I worked with Sam starting in February 2021 to start the process of buying my first home. She came highly recommended from many of my close friends and I was excited to work with her. Finding a realtor I liked was harder than finding my husband. I went and met up with many realtors and found myself having an awkward conversation over a cup of coffee and me wanting nothing more than to leave. When my husband and I met Sam it was love at first sightshe was smart, funny, and had a keen sense of style (which spoke to me). All joking aside though Sam could not have been a better fit for Shawn and I. Both Shawn and I are around the same age as Sam and that is initially what made me feel most comfortable talking to her.
