Longer story: Ive worked with Dan on four separate real estate transactions over the last six years. Dan is knowledgeable about market conditions and has consistently saved me money by knowing what prices to list/buy at.
Dan is an ethical businessman. On the last transaction I was looking at a wide price range, from 150-300K. Dan never pressured or even encouraged me to choose a higher priced home (which would have doubled his commission). He encouraged me to buy what I felt comfortable with, regardless of the cost. I ended up buying a condo that was more affordable, on the lower end of my price range and he helped me get a fair price on the condo, even to the point I could sell it right away, pay all the fees/taxes, and still come out ahead. With the current hot market conditions, that is exceptional.
Dan is a detail-oriented person and excellent with all the boring paperwork that needs to be read through and signed. He notices the little details that are sometimes missed.
Dan is also an excellent communicator. When Im working with him there is a lot of texting and emailing back and forth but he calls for the important lengthy information. He is prompt to respond to all my questions, usually within minutes. Dan also shows up in a timely manner. I truly dont ever remember him being late to a showing or appointment.
Lastly, Dan is fun to work with. He keeps things light-hearted. He has a fun personality. Ask him about his goat.
