Cody and his team are some of the hardest working real estate professionals I've ever met. We lived on the other side of the state, and were only able to come to Houston a handful of times to see homes. Not a problem. Cody's showing agent, Chris, must have shown us 30 different houses over the course of two months. Every single time he showed up with a positive attitude; cellphone in hand, he'd give us helpful info about the house and neighborhood as we looked around. Not even sure how to explain how amazing Cody and his whole crew were on helping us. From the first interaction on the phone, I knew they were the people we wanted in our lives.
We started our search in the beginning of the year and after our third realtor, the wife and I decided to put a pause on everything. We didn't get a "warm and fuzzy" from any of them. I understand that these ladies and gents have bills to pay but not one, was really looking out for our family's best interest. That happened right before the lockdowns and around July I told the Mrs. to start looking around again. My sister had just purchased her home from Cody and she sent me his number. I immediately noted his positive attitude and attention to detail over the phone. We agreed to a day to meet and the rest is history.
He gave us options based on our requests but we already had eyeballed a house that had been sitting on the market for a bit. We walked the house down and we told him that same moment to put a bid on it. To make a long story short, he negotiated for us like we were his first and only customers. Forgive me for using a loose tongue but this man was a beast when it came to fighting for us. His negotiation skills are level Lion. He was so persistent on our demands, to the point we actually became worried that the previous owners would back away. But the man was able to appease both sides and here we are sitting in our new home, still unboxing, but very pleased with our experience.
