Over the past several years I have had the great pleasure of working with Barb Cullen who sold our home, offered advice while looking for a rental, and most recently helped us to purchase a home. In each situation she has gone above and beyond and has amazed me with her aptitude to meet me where I am. She is a creative and cleaver problem solver, and her clear communication skills combined with her savvy negotiating skills make her a rock star Realtor.

The first time I worked with Barb, we hired her to replace our original Realtor. She immediately understood the necessity of a quick sale and that we needed to get as much for the property as possible. That said, she was honest in her assessment of what she thought we would get and advised us wisely to enter the market at a certain price point. She worked overtime helping to stage the property often using her own personal items to make the home, which was empty at the time, feel warm and inviting. After each open house and showing she immediately followed up not only with us, but also with each potential buyer. There was never a moment when we felt she was unreachable. She always made us feel we were important and no question was too small to ask. She sold the house quickly and was able to negotiate a sale price much higher than we expected.

When I was looking for a rental in a difficult and scarce market she assisted me and also introduced me to other realtors who specialized in rentals. She kept me in mind and contacted me with each lead she had. In the end she gave me valuable advice when I was negotiating my lease and was the first to bring me a sweet housewarming gift.

Most recently she helped us in a complicated and difficult purchase of a short sale property. Before I say more, it must be stated that most realtors wouldve probably thrown in the towel on this sale. It was all-consuming and beyond frustrating. Not Barb. When we were at our wits' end and thought nothing was possible to make the sale a reality she came up with a solution. Each obstacle we encountered she took on as a personal challenge to help us overcome. Without her we never would be in our wonderful home today.

The property was a short sale and on top of that we decided to use a 203K-renovation loan. Basically this means hoops, jumps, and paperwork till the cows come home. To make things even more complicated we were trying to take our family summer vacation during the purchase period. Bad timing and it could have been fatal to the sale if Barb had not been our realtor. Deadlines were coming fast, and with multiple contractors' requirements needing to be met, she went above and beyond holding night meetings with them and driving to their homes to pick up required paperwork. Despite us being miles away, she always kept us in the loop and made us feel confident and comfortable in the decision making process. Once the sale did go through she has proven to be an invaluable resource connecting us with tradespeople who have been excellent to work with.

Barb Cullen is the definition of a hardworker who puts her clients first and values their time, money, and personal needs. She is a brilliant and honest businesswoman who gets the job done right. Even if it takes a bit more of her time and elbow grease she does not shy away. She ensures each job is executed professionally, punctually, and to the highest standards.
