Luckily, we did not choose Peggy as our personal realtor, but we did have to work with her as she was the selling agent of the home we bought. Throughout the process Peggy was extremely unprofessional. We had to threaten to sue her and her client in order to get a septic inspection, which is Delaware State Law. She thought selling a property as is means no septic inspection, incorrect. Not only is it state law, it was included in the contract, which they signed. She also provided the wrong name for the contract. It was inherited after a death and obvious to most, a deceased person cannot sign any paperwork. Most infuriating of all her mess ups is that her and the seller left the house fully furnished which was noticed during the walk through and would not compensate for a dumpster nor moving fees. This breached the contract as well, selling a house as is does not mean leaving your unwanted belongings. The contract clearly stated the expectations. Unfortunately we did not have time to sue them for this as we were expecting to sign that same day. Friends, please do not use Peggy as your realtor. She made our first time home buying experience complicated and drawn out. Not happy with her nor compass reality. 2023
Peggy was AMAZING! This was our second home and I learned so much about the home buying process compared to the first time. She takes her time to teach, explain the forms, and even have a friendly chat when feeling stressed out. She double checks every detail on homes and even contracts that are submitted protecting us and our money. Including getting us the maximum amount back and the sale of our home! She truly goes the extra mile for her clients first. It was a pleasure sharing this experience and many laughs along the way.

My wife and I began the long road of building a custom home during a pandemic back in late Spring of 2020. --Which actually turned out to be a grueling nearly 15 months! From the beginning though, we had Peggy Sue as our agent, and she went above and beyond time and time again to ensure we ended up with the home we were looking forward to. From permit delays to "miscommunications" between us and the builder, from contract missteps to corners attempting to be cut... Peggy was oftentimes more on top of what was actually going on with our house project than the project manager themself! Then, when it finally came down to the week of settlement, she was still fighting to save us every dollar she could right up to the day of closing.

The preparation for the listing was spot on and the listing itself excellent. This was evident by the interest from day one when it was listed as Coming Soon and the number of showings scheduled once it was listed as For Sale (41 before we cut them off). Her guidance in prepping the home proved to be equally on the mark as we received 8 offers within 3 days. During the review of the offers, she provided explanation and an analysis of each offer which allowed us to make an informed decision. Although, we have yet to finish the process (closing), I have no doubt it will go smoothly.

She negotiated seven different offers for us until finally we were successful in purchasing our first home. She even went above and beyond our expectations by negotiating with the former owner (house flipper) when the hvac unit was broken during our final walk through and the electric was rewired incorrectly between our house inspection and final closing.
