Let me start by saying, THANK YOU Caseyann! I was looking for a nice single family home in the Bronzeville area and was referred to Caseyann Reid. I was a little skeptical as I am with everyone but immediately I felt comfortable with Casey's skill level and knowledge. I have seen many properties over the past few years so some might call me "particular". I work as a physician with limited time so you can see how this combination would be a nightmare for an inexperienced realtor. Casey was immediately available for questions and showings, during evening hours and Sundays as well! She negotiated 3 contracts in which I walked away feeling like "I've won" every time. I walked away from 2 of the contracts for reasons unrelated to me and later saw that the homes sold for thousands of dollars more than what Casey had negotiated for me (some poor soul paid more than they needed to). That alone made me trust her negotiating ability tremendously. The first contract was a total gut rehab, big, beautiful, and expensive. I was sold at first sight. Casey called an inspector from her team who found Termites! The basement had been treated and it was not disclosed in the contract. She immediately got me out of the deal with ALL of my earnest money back. I later found a beautiful home, new construction, close to the lake. Again, after negotiating a price, I walked away feeling like "I've Won". Her team is superb, from inspector to lawyer. I didn't mention that throughout this whole process, Casey was the one scheduling appointments, calling inspector, lawyer, and sellers agent so that I could work without added stress. The process was awesome. I read blogs about how stressful buying a home can be and can honestly say that I cannot relate. I would recommend them to my grandmother who can barely see and feel comfortable that she will get a great home at a steal.lol I'm happy, and again, THANK YOU Caseyann Reid and the Berkshire Hathaway Team.
