As first time home buyers, we couldn't have found a realtor better than Andrew. We met him at an open house and realized right away how knowledgeable and also how genuine he is. We exchanged contact information and Andrew immediately started sending us specialized emails of homes that met our criteria. Covid hit, but that did not deter him; Andrew walked us through 7 homes before we found the one for us. He never rushed us through a home and he showed us how to spot when a home had been truly cared for and things we might need to worry about later down the line. His schedule was open; we didn't have any trouble scheduling a house walk-through or a time to speak with him on the phone, and he was available by text pretty much immediately every time. We knew Andrew from meeting him at previous "open houses" in our neighborhood. We were impressed with his professionalism and his friendliness so we enlisted him to be our broker when we sold our home. The whole process was complicated. I can not ever imagine selling or buying a home without Andrew. He was there every step of the way. He sensitively guided my elderly mother, (and me, when I could be there), to a position where she got an excellent price for her (very un-updated) house. He advised her on which condo to purchase, knowing that she was on a tight budget. He provided advice on financing, timing, and everything that comes with the logistics of selling an old home and then buying a new home within a short time period. His advice included pointing to what was worth updating in her 45-year old house, and what was not. He explained how to deal with an oil tank and advised whether it was best to renovate an old condo or buy one as is. He treated her like she was his only client, even though he was busy doing multiple closings and heading to meetings. He called everyday to check-in and returned our calls immediately, often patiently explaining and re-explaining the process. Andrew researched proactively,( i.e. he called in specialists to check on issues which could have come up on the inspection report), gathered referrals from his fellow professionals for her, (i.e. other agents who had dealt with similar issues), organized and called all repair vendors (never leaving these details for my mom to deal with), and discreetly called me when he felt some small details may have become too overwhelming for her. He was extremely empathetic and gentle with my mom and treated her like he would his own grandmother. (She was moving after 45 years in the family home immediately after her husband had passed away, which was quite traumatic). He was always positive, cool and confident. We had complete assurance that he would get us through to a successful result, which he did, and then some. We could not be happier with the service we received from Andrew Jacobs. It wasn't our first time buying a house, but it was for sure the easiest and most enjoyable experience! Considering we were travelling back and forth between the USA and Europe, and doing this mostly remotely, it was as painless as anyone could imagine. nAndrew walked us through the whole process making sure we understood how everything was going to work and explained all the steps that would be taking place. Even though we were in a different time zone, the communication was constant, through email, wifi calling or messaging. He was available from the beginning of the property search, to long after closing, as a matter of fact, any time I need anything, information about the area, utilities questions, insurance..., I know I can count on him to have the quickest and best answer. nHe is a friendly, knowledgeable and hard working person and with a lot of experience in the business. Working with Andrew was an absolute pleasure. Thanks to Andrew, my wife and I just landed a home after an exhaustive search spanning five months, four towns and two states! Andrew is licensed in both PA and NJ and has every contact needed to find answers in record time. He comes from a family of Real Estate agents and has an excellent knowledge of the trade. He worked tirelessly to find answers to every question we had and was always available to consult, I'm fairly certain he never let one of my calls go to voicemail.
