Rick Fruge of eXp Realty is, in my opinion, an incredibly unprofessional low life. He advertised all over our new neighborhood how much we paid over asking price for our house to our new neighbors, revealed other terms of the sale, and claimed the credit for the results. First off, this is a gross abuse of our privacy for his personal gain. We did not give our consent to use our personal data to promote his services. My new neighbors dont need to know how much over asking we paid for the home. How do I know he did this, you ask? He sent an advertisement to a family member. Second, we didnt pay over asking price because of anything he did. We paid over asking because the market is insane and my husband fell in love with the house. He had nothing to do with the price we offered. We gave a free lease back because we could and really wanted the home. We arrived at that on our own. Nothing to do with staging. Nothing to do with when the house went on the market. We just loved the house and the school district. I feel he is falsely taking credit for market forces and our own motivations. In sum, I would not recommend listing your house with him, and I can say with certainty from the buyers perspectiveRUN AWAYunless you want your business inappropriately advertised in your new neighbors' mailboxes. 2021
Rick was great as our realtor. He helped us sell our home and also helped us get into a new home. We sold our home in the midst of the Covid pandemic and were still successful at getting it done at a good price.
The purchase of our new (to-us) home was quite challenging and Rick stuck it out with us.
