It was a pleasant experience to have had Ms Shawanda Robinson as our agent when we sold the property at 46 Rice Rd. There were many legal and administrative procedures that we had to go through during the process, but Ms Robinson showed great stability and expertise in helping us deal with them in a reasonable span of time. She definitely will gear the level of interaction based on your needs. I communicate via email and text and she accommodated that style and kept me and my husband informed. We definitely took some far trips to view houses and we surprised to see the differences from the online photos to actual view. She reassured us through the process. When it came to the house we fell in love with, she helped us from going way overboard on a price. I loved that she has a searching for a home guide, moving guide, and she is honest about any information she does not know.
Very easy to get along with and there was no confusion over what needed to be done and what she would do and what was expected from me. I thought selling the house during the probate process would be the hardest thing with the estate, ended up being one of the easiest since we had all the paperwork beforehand and Shawanda.

Shawanda was an awesome Realtor. My husband and I were first-time homebuyers.
We had spoken with a lender we found on Zillow, and she said we should probably wait until we had more money saved up to purchase our first home. That was in November. I interviewed 3 agents, and Shawanda was the only one who seemed to do what she said she was going to do, by calling me. We were disappointed we wouldn't be moving forward to look at homes.
Shawanda, keeping me in her contact list, sent me a text with a flyer about the NeighborhoodLIFT program, which is a grant (well, interest-free loan for 5 years) which offered 20K in down payment assistance. I thought, with 20K extra funds, we could afford a home. She told us how to apply and that we needed to do it at 9 a.m. the following Monday. My husband did it for me, at 9 a.m. exactly, and we got into one of the coveted spots! She sent that to me, and it was like a godsend! I was so glad she thought to share that with me.
She got us hooked up with lender Rhonda Lewis who I immediately communicated with about my past job-hopping. She assured me, it wouldn't be a problem of us getting a mortgage.
When we got our preapproval letter, Shawanda encouraged us to schedule as many homes to see at once. We put in several offers on homes, that did not win the bid. However, Shawanda remained positive and never really was discouraged. We looked at a house we liked, and we needed to be under contract by April. Shawanda and I had spoken about 3% sellers assist (seller paying buyers closing costs) and a lower offer for the home, we offered a dollar above list price and a 30-day close. I hadn't even remembered that we talked about 3% sellers assist, and I didn't tell her to put it in the offer, she just did it. I was amazed when I looked at our closing disclosure and there was almost 9K covered for us.
The home went back on the market after the previous buyer needed more time to close.
If I had any questions about any issues with the home, Shawanda got the answers to my questions less than 10 minutes after leaving. She called me with the info I requested or texted it to me. She was responsive and always got back to me with my questions or suggestions. I have never dealt with someone so efficient, personable, and competent. She did everything she could for us, and she was fast and easy to work with. She made us feel at ease, and like she knew what was happening, but never made it feel like a big deal. She made sure we knew what the consequences of offering low prices, and if we were okay with losing out on the home.
I wholeheartedly recommend Shawanda Robinson as a buyer's agent. She does not pressure you to do things you don't want to do. This is a hot market, and many homes were going for more than asking price. She was amazing. 2019

I thought it would have been challenging to find, purchase and close on a second home in Washington, DC from my current home in Brooklyn, NY. Real estate transactions can be a daunting task as I quickly learned during my first experience as a buyer. Consequently, when I decided to sell I knew I needed someone who would be on my side. I called up Shawanda and asked for her assistance and believe me I wasn't disappointed! She gave great advice about a number of things that I could do to help the house sell quickly which I truly appreciate because it enhanced the process tremendously. We listed the home on Friday, Shawanda held an open house on Sunday and 2 days later we accepted an offer! The process could have been stressful for me however Shawanda was knowledgeable, patient and gave me advice and reassurance throughout.
