I first met Karla shortly after my father passed away and I had the responsibility of settling his estate. Karla met with me to discuss listing the property before probate court had appointed me as executor and she agreed to work with me. She went above and beyond for me to solve issues with a survey and property lines that had discrepancies with the county. She met with contractors to get quotes on repairs on the property when my schedule would not allow for me to be there. In one sentence: Karla listens, she's creative, and she never stops looking for your perfect solution. n nKarla had a tough job with me. I had *specific* requirements: a certain sq ft, open floor plan etc, etc. She listened closely and patiently explained the fast-moving real estate market in Calhoun/Adairsville. I'm from out of state so she cleared a week for me to look at houses and get a better idea of my wants. We almost succeeded with an offer in that first week. Even though we lost on that offer Karla left me with a creative strategy going forward and she continued to look. Her strategy worked. In a few months (remember, I'm from out of state) I ended up with a fantastic house that's a superb fit to my original requirements. n nMy interactions with Karla didn't end there. She knows people! Karla Helm came to our home several times. She guided us in the preparation of our home for sale. nShe assisted us in setting the selling price, after she had done careful research of other homes in the area that were for sale or which had recently sold. We feel that she helped us set the best price for our house. nShe brought a photographer and worked with him to select and photograph all the good pictures, including drone pictures. nShe put the details on the internet on November 10 and within a few days we had several interests and a contract. nShe worked with the buyer and the buyer's realtor and we were able to close on December 27 in perfect timing for us to move into our new place. n nWe are happy to recommend her to anyone wanting to sell or buy a home.
