Josena and I first met Janet Kubicki in Fall 2018 at an open house in Niskayuna, as we restarted a search for a move to home in the greater Schenectady area. She impressed us then, and when we became a bit more focused early in 2019, she became our Buyers Agent. Our focus gradually narrowed to Niskayuna (with some side jaunts) and Janet persisted through more showings than we can recall (more than 25, at least). She made suggestions, reviewed our possibilities from internet searches, set up showings, prepared well, expressed her points of view in a positive way, and stayed on point when we wandered into the weeds.
We became much more focused in July 2019, when our house in the Adirondacks went under contract. Janet zeroed in on the Old Niskayuna market and persisted again. As it turned out, she facilitated a same-day showing and accepted offer on an almost-perfect house she strongly suggested we see as soon as possible. We are delighted with our new home, and thank Janet for all the good advice, persistence and professionalism combined with care that typified her efforts. Highly recommended.
Working with Janet was an absolute delight! First off she was friendly and easy to talk to. She listened to my needs and helped narrow my searches accordingly. She had great recommendations for every step of the way (lawyers, movers, etc) which was great for me since it was my first time going through the home buying process. She was easily accessible when I needed and had a big presence with her phone calls and texts to check in without being overbearing. We were long distance clients and although the FIRST deal didn't happen as planned, Janet continues to trudge onward with our best interests in mind.
