We can't speak highly enough of our experience with Shalyn. We were first time homebuyers with little to no knowledge of how to find what we were looking for, but she was more than helpful with explaining how things worked and assisted us in making an offer that was reasonable to help us snag the home we were looking at.
From day 1, Shalyn was extremely responsive and quickly handled any issues that may have risen. Did I mention that our experience was completely remote?! We were living in Fayetteville at the time and were unable to drive down to look at houses, but Shalyn was so dedicated to us that she gave us a virtual tour on a Sunday! She pointed out potential issues with houses, gave thorough tours, and gave us tips on making an offer when we were finally ready.
We had an RD loan, which comes with a lot of hoops to jump through and some uncertainty on time frame. Our closing date changed a couple of times because of this, and when we finally got the go-ahead...it was the next day! I swear she can do anything. Somehow, she was able to coordinate with the bank, the title company, and everyone else to make sure that we were in our new home on time. We had some difficult moments in both aspects that I'm not sure any other realtor would have had the patience to deal with us on these issues and walk us through them as methodically and calmly as she did.
Shalyn is also incredibly personable. On top of being exceptionally good at her job, she felt like a friend after we worked with her and certainly is a friend now. I can't recommend her enough.
