We are a military family and found ourselves, yet again, in a mad dash to find a home on short notice when my husband was assigned to his new duty station. We contacted THLT on a Saturday afternoon and told the receptionist what our situation was and she told us an agent would contact us ASAP. Since it was a weekend day, we expected a follow-up to take a couple days. However, within minutes, Pamela Watson reached out to us. We explained our situation to her, told her wed be coming in from a different state to look at houses with little time to spare, and she told us shed do whatever it took to find us a home.

On November 15, 2020, I saw a listing for open and house and convinced my husband we should go look at it since it was no pressure. The agent happened to be an old friend and we got to talking about the buying process. Amanda pointed us in the direction of a good lender to get pre-approved, and then immediately started sending us houses. We decided to go look at a few before ever even listing our house. I fell in love with the first house we looked at, but she insisted we look at more just to be sure. At the time there were only 3 houses on the market that met our specifications, and I knew the first one was the one. That night we made an offer, and within a few days we were under contract. Amanda and her team immediately went to work to get our house listed the day before Thanksgiving. Within 5 days we had numerous showings and two offers for full price. Amanda helped us navigate which deal and buyer looked the best, and Im so thankful for her guidance and patience. The inspection process was extremely stressful, and at one point I began to question if we were looking at the right house. There was house we never got to look at due to the sellers having COVID, and Amanda suggested we go look at it before we made a final decision. This would have caused her commission to take a hefty hit if we would have chosen the other house, but it truly showed her only priority was us walking away happy and at peace. She kept us calm when things had to be extended and ensured that we got to move in early and close both homes on the same day.
