Katie was extremely helpful during the sale of our house. Two weeks prior to closing, the buyers inspector found a leak that caused mold. Katie lined up a contractor that she had previously used and we were able to get the plumbing fixed, outside and inside walls repair and mold remediation completed. The closing was not delayed. Purchasing property can be a difficult and trying proposition, and purchasing from over 5000 miles away adds to a daunting experience. After hearing friends who live in Hambersham, talk about their lives in South Carolina, I decided that I should explore the possibility of a radical move. After spending over ten years in Hawaii, I was ready to for my next phase in life which would move me closer to my family. With only a week to visit and tour and look at properties, my trip had to be planned down to the hour. My friends put me in touch with a local real estate agency and I received an email shortly after from Katie Gambla. She was receptive to the idea of a focused tour of the Beaufort area and was willing to work within my budget and long distance communications that included a five hour time difference. We decided on looking at six properties during the course of one day, and Katie set to work managing a tight schedule while throwing in some local sites. After a successful day of house hunting, I decided that I wanted to explore something my house ownership over the years had never included, and that was to find land and have a new home built. Katie had a number of suggestions, and in the end I decided that Hambersham was where I wanted to live. Fast forward over the next month of long distance communications, negotiations and lots of on-line signings, I purchased a lot, and I am now in the process of exploring house plans and builders. Throughout the process, Katie was professional, on point with a time line and best of all, pleasant and knowledgeable about this new experience.
