I cannot recommend Dee Rasberry enough. My fianc and I now consider her a dear friend. She worked with me for over a year to find our dream home in Corrales. From beginning to end Dee's character was matched only by her competence and work ethic to deliver what can only be described, truthfully- as the highest quality service. Dee and I went out on probably (8) separate full days of house hunting over the course of that year-plus of searching. Dee patiently and carefully listened as my fianc and I went through our process of discernment- weighing the pros and cons of having a rental or air BNB opportunity on-site, or of having farmland with ditch rights, or with constructing a new build, or entertaining an investment in an older, more historic renovation. She helped us navigate the twists and turns of the market as well as the volatility of changing interest rates in as impartial a way as one could ask; She was really committed to helping us find the best situation.
Dee, corresponded at all hours- on weekends, at night, and during early mornings. She communicated promptly with us and different potential lenders- and she helped us to get approved for the home we finally decided upon. When were denied approval she used her extensive network to help us find not only approval but one at a crazy low-interest rate with a local credit union. It seems that Dee has the weight of countless strong professional relationships behind her; relationships, I imagine she must foster as carefully as the client relationship she cultivated with us in the purchase of our home.
While we were under contract- she communicated tirelessly with contractors, the seller's realtor, and the sellers (they were friends of mine). When the seller's realtor stepped back in overseeing the completion and execution of 21k of repairs to the 30-plus-year-old adobe home, Dee swept in to save the day. She scheduled every repair and acted as a project manager for the readying of our home. I do not think the sellers understood how out of the norm this was. And, I do not think Dee even mentioned it to them.
Regarding the agreement of what was to be repaired- Dee advocated for me and my fianc in a fair, professional, but extremely powerful way to see that the home we got was all but perfect. She offered to meet with us more than a month after closing to go over the repairs and review the inspections, reports and help us with furnishing design ideas. This woman just goes above and beyond. Let me tell you.
On top of all of that, she offered a portion of her commission to cover the cost of the transfer for the roof warranty (the roofing company which installed the roof was a great company but changed hands after installing the roof six years ago). This gift to us was completely unsolicited. She also offered the sellers something comparable but didn't gloat about this to us. This is who she is. She's someone who cares- and who also happens to be incredible at what she does. She sees the value in homes for her clients- whether they are buying or selling- and communicates that clearly and honestly.

As I was finishing a complete, high end remodel I was trying to sell the house myself.
