Selling a cherished family home with 45 years of memories isnt an easy task. Decluttering, downsizing, and getting a home ready for sale isnt an easy task. After doing this and moving out of state, I can see why people say that moving is one of the most stressful things you will ever do. So choosing the right realtor to guide you through not only the business part but the emotional part is a crucial decision that can either make the process great or add to the stress. I said that when I move Val would be the one to sell my house. I had never met her, but followed her on social media, and I just felt a connection that she would be the right fit for me on that journey. That was the best decision I could have ever made. Val swooped in with positive energy, scanned the house with border collie eyes and gave an honest and blunt assessment. She also gave choices on how to maximize this sale. We chose to do everything she said in terms of putting money into certain upgrades, facelifts, and staging. With a vast network of contacts, and honestly almost wizard like, she lined up people for things like flooring and countertops, with a speed that could have given you whiplash. The house was ready for sale in just a few months. With multiple bids it sold at the open house and over asking price. She was 100% correct with all her advice of where to spend money (and where not to spend money). But getting a house ready for market and doing an open house is just the beginning. She was right by our side through the business part as well, and as first time sellers, that was where Vals mastery of her profession was invaluable. She is absolutely who you want on your side of the table protecting and negotiating your interests. Val has a big personality and with it you get honesty, integrity, knowledge, experience, and someone who will make you feel like you are their only client. Highly recommend Val Gallagher!

STOP & READ THIS: I cannot express into words how much we recommend Val. My family will forever be indebted to her.
