Since day one, Matthew and partner in crime Corteney have been outstanding throughout my home buying journey. I posted a house for sale by owner on Zillow in Abilene, TX. I live in Florida. I didnt actually expect to sell the house, but I was interested in seeing the market. Matthew called me and offered to help me. He didnt sell himself to me though. He told me he supported for sale by owners and he wanted to make sure I could succeed and hed love to help out where he could. I told him what I was hoping to make and he took it from there. He started doing research on the house, contacting potential contractors, assessing the value, and consolidating information and potential buyers BEFORE I even agreed to pay him anything. Seeing how much work needed to be done, we got under contract for him to list it.
I had renters in the house that had just moved in 3 months prior to me posting it on Zillow. The rental company did little to help me. Matthew called me one night and told me we had a full price offer on the house. Id make far more than what I said I wanted to, and hed have everything taken care of. I contacted the renters to talk to them about it, and they were hesitant because they didnt know where theyd go. Matthew took them under his wing too! When the rental company didnt release their security deposit per my request on time, Matthew paid their closing costs OUT OF HIS POCKET to make sure they would be good and my house would be available to close!
Being in Florida should have made tracking repairs and updates to the house difficult, especially during a pandemic. I didnt have to worry once. Matthew did the research, called the contractors, set up times, let them onto the property, and coordinated billing! The ONLY thing I had to do was pay them. It was literally effortless.
In less than a month, Matthew got a full price offer on my house, found a house for my renters to buy, coordinated all repairs on the house for pennies on the dollar, and got me to closing.
I was attempting to sell this house at the same time that I was working to rent out the house I have in Florida, all while trying to coordinate a move to Hawaii for my family of five. This honestly shouldnt have even been possible.
