This is the third house I have bought and/or sold with Doris Hardy. All three sales were exemplary. Doris is a pleasure to work with. Professional, knowledgeable, accessible, & approachable, all with a great sense of humor. The first sale was an antebellum home on sixteenth section land when selling property on sixteenth section land was a major issue in Columbus, but Doris found a way. That included getting help with the financing on a property on sixteenth section land in the mid 90's. Very, very, difficult at the time. On the particular house I just sold, an offer was made and accepted on the 2nd day it was listed. I expected it to take several weeks or possible a couple of months. I can't write this testimonial without mentioning Dayleigh Boutwell, a young associate with Doris Hardy & Associates. Dayleigh made sure all documentation including contracts, inspections, authorizations, amendments, etc., were all done in a timely manner & all phone calls were returned promptly. I never had to call back twice for a particular issue. Dayleigh is an asset to the organization & will do well in the real estate business. I own many homes and have bought and sold many properties over the years. This was the worst experience and most non-professional people I have every worked with. After contracting with them, they took 5 months to list my property on the MLS, place a lockbox and a For Sale sign and then fraudulently demanded that I post date documents to keep them out of trouble. No communication when the house was showing or any updates after a showing and no regard for my listing; told me "no" about lowering the price or offering buyer allowances. I terminated the contract and was forced to wait even longer to sell my home because they would not release the contract. So incompetent. They need to be investigated by the Realtor Board and the Century 21 Corporate office.

Doris made our selling and buying experience bearable. We had previously talked to another agent who had told us our house was not worth what we needed to get out of it. He was pessimistic and told us he did not think he could sell our house. But Doris was optimistic and made us feel good about the process. She wound up getting us more money that we originally thought we could get and sold our house in just 30 days. She was fabulous and understanding of how difficult the process is.
