Practical know-how for me as a 2nd time home buyer: She spent the right amount of time to describe and explain critical points in the Tri-Valley home search, bid strategy for the (area, district, community), contracting, loan initiation through close, closing of escrow process, and even at move-in!! This list was lengthy given the structure of our loan and the 2 rounds of back and forth bidding. This attention was welcomed. My family felt we had an real advocate for us when we were not in the room.
The property was listed on a Wednesday, we had our pre-emptive offer accepted the following Monday. Key point to call out, the sellers were not initially accepting pre-emptive offers. They had wanted 2 weekends worth of open houses to consider prospects.
Its in the Details and know when to inform me: Who knew, there could be landmines in doc. disclosures, superficial fixes, and contingencies can be so complicated. I would have easily spent another $50-$60K in post close gotchas to remediate issues. An inquisitive mind and a 3x over walkthrough to ID and point out items to me helped in my decision and saved me time and effort after moving in.

We knew Christy through a friend's referral. Christy was excellent and helped us every step of the way. She was very, responsive--whenever we had questions (either general or specific on a particular house), she responded via text message or phone calls immediately with accurate and thoughtful answers. She is also knowledgeable. She provided us with lots of information about evaluating a house and educated us on what we should pay attention to during our house tours. Additionally, she took action fast and proactively-- there were a couple of times we told her we were interested in a house; she immediately got in touch with the seller agent and let us know first-hand information.
