Mackenzie was a wonderful help to us in the home-buying process. We are first-time home buyers, having lived as ex-pats for all of our adult years. So, even though we are old enough to have bought several homes over the course of many years, we were inexperienced and full of questions. Mackenzie did an excellent job leading us through the process, getting to know us, and adjusting her original assumptions regarding the type of house we wanted and helping us find the house that most perfectly met our needs and preferences. We much appreciated the fact that Mackenzie, who has only one year of experience as a realtor would answer a few of our questions with an honest, "I don't know, but I will find out." She was always prompt to get information to us. Mackenzie was a good negotiator with the seller's realtor, helping us negotiate our offer and the closing costs. She had good recommendations for loan originators and for an inspector. We were inexperienced with the entire process; and furthermore, we were new to the Upstate area of South Carolina. Our experience for Mackenzie was nothing short of fantastic. As first time home-buyers my wife and I were coming in with hardly any idea of what we needed to do and how we needed to do it, but Mackenzie was there every step of the way clearly detailing everything that we needed to know and do well in advance of when we needed it done.
