First off, I am a Retired Army Veteran. I never thought that this opportunity to purchase a home would ever happen again(past bad experience). Then, one day this past May, I decided to apply for a second chance VA home loan through Veterans United. Well, I got pre-approved, supplied all documents necessary, and, then, I got to work with Julie Bridges. She is a passionate and professional agent. My wife and I talked on the phone at first, so she could get to know us and our needs. I told her our price range, and that we already had a couple of properties in mind. We went to see them, and she let us know exactly how we should approach as far as offers concerned...I swear it felt JUST like being on House Hunters!! So, we must have looked at 5-6 houses. They were all much different as far as character, space, and certain ammenities were concerned, but, in the end, they just weren't meant for us. We did like a couple of them, and had hopes that maybe we would get our offer accepted, however, it didn't pan out. So, one day, out of the blue, in my email, I get a message from Julie's office, saying to check out this property we think you might like. Well, sometimes pictures don't do the house justice, but, this one did. I looked at the photos, and said, "yeah, this is the one for us". It had all the spaces we needed, extras we were always wanting, and more. So, my wife and kids went to go and look at it without me, and confirmed. Then, I finally got to see it for myself, and immediately fell in love with it! I had to get my offer in, and go strong, asking more than they were selling it for. Lo and behold, they accepted our offer as we were looking at another house! How awesome is that? So, needless to say, here we are one month after closing on it, and we couldn't be any happier with our forever home! I guess we will start with our story from beginning to end. I was introduced to Julie by a work colleague after moving to Oklahoma from California. During our initial phone conversation Julie seemed like most realtors friendly and nice trying to get that sale. But boy was I wrong. What a good thing. The first time we met was at a 1 on 1 showing at a simple house outside of town. I was just blown away by that point about Julie and how she conducted herself as a professional. She was fun, easy going, reliable with information, and breaking down each part of the house that needed to be viewed. After that I was hooked. Julie was my realtor. The process continues with me viewing several houses. Time and time again with my taste and experience of other builds; I was just not impressed. Julie was feeling just as frustrated as I was in the matter, but she kept going. Then Julie gave me the idea to build. Build, I thought, was a crazy idea during the year 2020. Yet, I forgot I had a super relator named Julie Bridges. Since I was new to the area she supplied all contacts for builders, viewed plots of land, and suggested places to build. She even had sit down meetings with the builders and me. I eventually found my lot I wanted, the builder I wanted, and the price I wanted. Julie helped in that and made the process fun working with the bank and keeping things stress free. The final step was closing day and finally living in a house designed by me. Yes, you guessed it that day was easy breezy all thanks to Julie. I closed on my home in May of 2021.

I listed my home with another realtor in August 2019. During that time, the only updates I would receive is when I would call and ask questions. I am in the military and stationed out of state, so all my faith was in the realtor that listed my home. I never received any feedback on what repairs was needed or updates that would need to be done in order to sell the home.
