I have known Ms. Goings since my days as a student at Charlottesville High School (the 70s). When I found myself executing my aunts will in the fall of 2015 I knew without a doubt that I wanted Ms. Goings to help me through that process... despite my knowing numerous other realtors in Charlottesville. I should mention that I live in Annapolis, Maryland and was handling these business affairs from afar. I would trust Donna Goings with my life! Ms. Goings is extremely competent, knowledgeable,professional, and honest. She listened to and abided by my wishes. She advised when necessary. I never doubted that she had my best interest at heart. I sensed a mutual respect. In 2017 I contacted Ms. Goings again...this time to discuss the eventual/likely sale of my mothers home. My mother had finally decided to move to Maryland to be close to me. My mother had met Ms. Goings on numerous occasions and was also a big fan! My mother was a discriminating woman...to get her seal of approval was no easy task. Ms. Goings succeeded! Sadly, my mother passed away this past September. When she passed she was aware that her beloved home had received much positive attention in a short span of time; as well as, several offers. I will be forever thankful that she left this life with that knowledge and satisfaction. My mother and father were the original owners (1964-2018) of this home. I was five years old when we moved in and I am fifty nine years old now...emotional to say the least. Ms. Goings ALWAYS respected that fact. I feel that Ms. Goings has moved beyond her role as a stellar former high school math teacher and Pep Club sponsor...beyond her role as a realtor...to that of a trusted friend and advisor for life.
