As a purchaser of 15 homes in five different states, I consider myself a fairly savvy real estate buyer. But without the able assistance of Penelope Vasquez and her partner Drew Lamprich of Sotherbys, I would have been really lost in the Santa Fe market. They were without question the most professional realtors I have ever had the pleasure of encountering. They guided me through the purchase process. Some of the properties are unusual. Penelope called me one evening to ask me about a home I had mentioned asking me if I needed five garages. The Santa Fe pueblo architecture is unique (horse properties, coyote fences, acreage, etc.) and they arranged the inspection, accompanying the inspectors so that they could get good repair estimates. I was in South Carolina and had never dealt with canalies, stucco, flat roofs, swamp coolers, etc. When I arrived after a three day drive, Penelope had delivered a kit to my new home-a blow-up mattress, fresh towels and kitchen gear, in addition to lovely gifts, to tide me over until my furniture arrived.
