Family G, a seller from Yorktown Heights, NY
We were referred to Denise by a neighbor and family friend who had recently listed her house. We were told that Denise was a straight shooter, knowledgeable about the area and would guide us in the right direction. This was important to us, as we were selling a family home, and do not currently reside in the area. Having someone like Denise, who took the lead on all fronts, realizing our limitations due to our absence was a Godsend. Her familiarity with the process, as well as personal relationships with people in local positions who could facilitate the paperwork necessary to facilitate the sale was extremely important. Many time she contact, or personally went to local municipal departments, or town hall, to follow up on permits, paperwork and other pertinent pieces of information such as surveys and deeds, which we could not physically do. n nThe other thing I need to stress is the importance of her exemplary communication skills. She guided us through the sale, explaining process and procedure, offering options on various ways to do things. When dealing with the complications in selling a home today, with estates, wills, trusts, second mortgages, reverse mortgages and the like, it is not always a simple one step transaction. n nDenise was also complimented by our attorney, who does a great deal of complicated closings involving estates, trusts, reverse mortgages and wills. We were not present at closing, but felt extremely confident that she was there watching out for our best interests. She also displayed a great deal of flexibility in giving of her time in scheduling and rescheduling the closing. n nHer advice and guidance was key in having our family home prepared and put on the market at the right time to fit our timeframe. The house sold in the first week, thanks in part to her focus, knowledge and reputation. Everything we were told came true. n nI consider Denise not only a phenomenal and professional real estate advisor and agent, but a friend.
