If you are reading this review, look no further! I highly recommend Gina Alexander! Ironically I met Gina at a closing table, but she was not my agent. She represented the seller of the home my mom was purchasing. Her presence, demeanor, professionalism, and pleasant disposition were so impressive. I knew then that if I ever needed an agent, she would be the one I calledand I did. Three years later, I reached out to her when I needed to sell my home. She met with me, evaluated my property, offered great advice regarding what I needed to do to prepare it for sale, and patiently answered all of my questions. Although we initiated the process, for personal reasons I could not continue with selling my home at that time. Gina was gracious and understanding of my circumstances. One year later, I called her and she was more than willing to pick up right where we left off. In less than a week on the market, my home was under contract and less than 30 days later, we closed. That sounds simple, but within that short period of time many uncommon and unconventional (and that is putting it mildly) things happened. When we decided to sell our house, we called on Gina knowing that she had previously sold a house for a mutual friend and they had only good things to say about her and her work. Before accepting the contract, she came in and sat down with us to explain her views and technics on the most effective way to sell OUR home. I hardly every write reviews, but when it comes to Gina Alexander I could write all day long. My husband and I moved to GA from CT back in 2015. We were packed into a small 2 bedroom apartment that we had only planned on being in for 1 year that eventually turned into almost 3. We had worked with 2 other realtors, but neither of them were helpful or willing to go the extra mile(s) to help us find a home. Then along came Gina. We spoke over e-mail for a few weeks and she listened to everything we were looking for in a home. On our first meeting we went to this home that was a complete disaster on the inside, and Gina was quick to point out all damages to the house. This absolutely took me by surprise! I had never worked with a realtor so open and honest before. In that first meeting we got to see just how knowledgeable she is and get a little taste of her infectious personality and we were hooked. My husband and I walked away from that experience knowing that Gina was going to find us the perfect house. It took over a year, lots of listings, and tons of miles, before we found a house we were interested in. Unfortunately, the house was already under contract by the time we got to go see it. That didn't stop Gina though... She suggested we put in a backup contract on the off chance that the contract didn't go through. Later that day the backup contract was in and we felt better about our chances. Gina checked that listing every day and was giving us any updates she could, she also drove around the neighborhood and pulling up listings looking for any other homes for sale that were similar. She kept up with that house until the day it sold. We were sad to see it go, but Gina made sure we stayed optimistic that the perfect house was out there. Every week after that house sold my husband, Gina and myself were combing through listings and scheduling showings. We were driving to Conyers, McDonough, Fayetteville, and Douglasville at least every 2 weeks (probably more than that to be honest). Gina would always get to the houses first and do a walk-through a few minutes before we arrived, and she was 100% accurate predicting if we were going to like the house or not. She knew exactly what we were looking for and it was so comforting. Finally, our dream home came along and it was listed as a Hot Buy. It had only been on the market for 4 days and there were multiple offers. Gina called me and said if I wanted to see the house it had to be that day. I moved some things around and ran out of the apartment to go meet her. When I pulled up the driveway she had this HUGE smile on her face. We both knew this was the house. We were standing out on the deck and she immediately started making phone calls. 20 minutes later we had worked out what our offer was going to be and not even an hour later she already had the contract drawn up. The next day she called to give us the best news we have heard in a long time...They had accepted our offer! Finally our dream was coming true. The events that transpired after our offer was accepted were exacerbating. We were in a full out battle with the owners & their realtor. Gina was writing amendments left and right to the contract just trying to make sure we had everything we needed to close. The back and forth was so stressful we were all on edge. Gina and I were on the phone 7-9 times a day discussing our next move. We both were loosing sleep and sick to death over all the crazy hoops we had to jump through, but Gina was always 4 steps ahead of the game. The day of closing came and because of all of Gina's hard work we had every document we needed. Closing went through without a hitch and next thing we knew we were homeowners! I honestly don't know what we would have done without Gina. She took us under her wing and treated us like we were her own kids. She always put our needs before her own, and made sure we ended up with a fabulous house. I can't say enough positive things about her and I get emotional every time I think about all she did to help us. Gina is hands down one of the best people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing and working with. If we ever buy another home there is no one else we will work with. I've never been one to write reviews but this is worth the time. I owned a condo that I had been renting out for the last 4 years and I decided it was time to sell. I knew nothing about selling a property. A friend who owned a condo a couple doors down from mine gave me Gina's name and stated she was not only a wonderful person to deal with but she sold her condo immediately upon listing. An angel must have led us to Gina. No, I'm not being melodramatic. Let me share my story:My husband and I lived in Douglasville, GA from 2005 when we bought our house until 2009 when we moved to Okinawa, Japan to assist the military. My husband and I thought that we could manage our own rental property. We were wrong. We were taken complete advantage of by our renter. RWD to 2005- purchased our home with an agent- not Gina, but a coworker. Real estate was part time for this person. So, wanting to help her and hoping we'd get good service because of our relationship, I chose her. Yeah, that didn't work out either. She didn't want to do work BECAUSE of our relationship, and we were taken advantage of. FFWD to finding Gina. Remember, we were still in Okinawa. Having been through this nightmare renter, we wanted to sell to get out of the financial responsibility. We were nervous. How could we trust that this new agent wouldn't be like the last or worse! This time we were blessed with a caring, considerate, honest, and true real estate agent who worked for us more than focusing on the commission! In fact, it was about that time that the market had tanked, so after using her expertise and advising us in all the right ways, but not being able to even break even, before she allowed us to undersell, together, we came up with the plan of allowing her company to manage the property for us while we waited for the market to recover. She found us a phenomenal renter, and we were able to safely wait until the market recovered enough that we could put our house back on the market. Gina kept us informed the entire time. In a still recovering, shaky market, she found us a buyer that allowed us to break even! In that market, that was NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE! Hearing the words "You've got a hard house to sell" after listing it for 6 months with no luck is quite possibly the worst thing to hear. But not for Gina Alexander!!! She came out to the house and did a complete walk through giving me ideas and suggestions that would help improve the look of our home. It took me two weeks to de-clutter and reorganize and when she came back to take the pictures, she did another complete walk through to make sure everything was good to go. The first day our house went live on the listing service, we had multiple calls to schedule showings. It didn't take but a week, we had an offer and went under contract. Throughout the entire selling process she kept me informed and up to speed. Gina was also our agent for buying our new home. Let me tell you, Gina earned even more of my trust and respect during this process. Every day I had emails for potential homes and when i had questions, she was prompt in responding.
