Paul just showed up in my driveway one day when I was outside. He was immediately, courteously friendly, knowledgeable, and offered help -without- being pushy. I had been plagued with "flippers" on the phone for a couple years or more; but, Paul was the first actual Agent to contact me. Of all those flippers, -none- of them would actually come out to look at the house or visit me in-person. Paul did both on first contact, and I liked him immediately.
Very friendly and outgoing, Paul is also -willing to listen!- It always felt like he was actually considering what I told him or requested. If I occasionally suggested something that, in my ignorance, wasn't reasonable, Paul always had a clear explanation of why it was not a good idea, or not feasible, and never made me feel silly for suggesting it.
From Day-1, Paul 'felt' trustworthy to me. He has fully fulfilled my expectations in that regard too!

For us, it was important that the agent understood the advantages and disadvantages about the broader area (i.e., areas of growth and future development, access to conveniences, etc.) since at the start of the process we were flexible where we might relocate in the Raleigh area in general. Also it was critical that the agent had depth of knowledge with the the local real estate process, current local market trends and conditions, and the art of a negotiation which we found to be much different from the area which we moved.
Paul did a fabulous job in being responsive to our needs starting with setting up a broad search that would help us narrow down to the homes and areas we were interested in. Paul and his team spent a good portion of a month or more just helping us through the search process from gathering information about properties we were interested in to multiple on-site visits both virtually and in-person. When we did find the home we wanted, he was on top of the negotiation and the terms of the deal to drive the best possible outcome for us. With us being remote, he was able to help coordinate all the milestones required from the deposits through the inspections and finally to closing.
