I met Kelvin when he moved into my Austin neighborhood in the mid-2000s. I would walk my dogs past his house and wave hello and each time noticed that the his house was getting nicer and nicer - his presence definitely improved the neighborhood! As the years went by I began to see his name and face on For Sale signs in the neighborhood as several of my neighbors hired him to assist in the sale of their homes. Everyone I talked to said that he was the best so when I got divorced and needed advice on what to do with my home as I moved out of town, I called him and he ascertained that I was not yet ready to sell and instead talked me through what I needed to do to get the house on the rental market - free advice from a friendly neighbor. Six years later I decided to sell and called him again. The house had renters living in it so he and his amazing team worked as the intermediary between me and the tenants - arranging a cleaning service and a photographer to get it listed as soon as possible. When the tenants moved out, the house was a wreck and Kelvin's team moved right away to schedule painters and maintenance teams, making sure that I got the best possible price for the required services as quickly as possible. They took care of scheduling and payments and were careful to make sure that I was kept abreast of all actions and expenses as we moved through the process. I felt like I was in complete control and I didn't have to do anything! Kelvin, Jonathan and Leslie made what could have been a stressful situation as seamless as possible. This was my third time working with Kelvin and his amazing team! Two years ago, my husband and I were trying to find a home to rent. We were having a hard time with the current real estate agent, whom I felt was not listening to what we were looking for, and the communication was not great. I felt like I was not a priority since I was only renting a home instead of buying. I was referred to The Kelvin Glover Team by our dear family friend who had just sold and bought her new home with them, and she was extremely satisfied with their service.
Leslie DeJesso was the first person that I reached out to, she was so friendly and made me feel that my questions were not silly at all, and always answered ALL my calls and e-mails. She then set us up an appointment with Kelvin, who had a real conversation with us about what we were looking for and what we would be looking at, regarding price range. Kelvin was great to work with throughout the entire process. Since we were overseas, he used video chat to show us properties. Kelvin was honest in letting us know that some of the houses we initially liked were not the best choices. Once we found our home, he was great in guiding our strategy in negotiating a lower price. Once the inspection came in, he and his team arranged for electricians, plumbers, and pool professionals to give quotes to better negotiate a price reduction since the sellers would not repair the findings themselves. I wanted to personally thank Kelvin & his amazing team. I utilized Kelvin's services with the sale of my home & the recent purchase of my new home. Both transactions occured about 10 months apart, and I would have to say Kelvin was on top of it the entire time, and paid attention to every detail.
Selling my home: This was the first time that I have ever sold a home, and when Kelvin and I met for the first time he was extremely professional and personable. This is important to me, because I appreciate someone who takes pride in timely responses and getting the task done with a sense of urgency.
