I engaged with Chris based on the recommendation of a friend. My intent was to do as little work as possible to my house and to get it onto the market quickly. Chris made some recommendations regarding changes to the house to make the house more attractive to buyers and to help ensure a quick sale. Though skeptical (at first!) I ultimately went with just about every recommendation he made, importantly including after we hit a "hiccup" about halfway through the updates to the home.
In the end and at every step of the way, Chris steered me right. The house was priced 5% higher when we went to market as compared to the initial assessment, and was under agreement in less than 3 days, closing 5 weeks later.

When we bought our first home, we used Shaun Livernois, who is part of the Chris Edwards team at Remax. We were so impressed then, that we knew when the time came to sell and upgrade, that Shaun would be the one we would use again. Shaun goes ABOVE and BEYOND with everything. We were probably difficult house hunters as we had an idea of exactly what we wanted and where. We were ready to purchase one house that filled our wants and needs, but several things were in need of repair and we felt the owner simply was not living up to the contract. The seller also lied to us about several things and we had no respect for his claims. Actually, the sellers real estate agent should have been on top of the problems. We lost some money in backing out of that contract, but had no regrets.
