7/5/22. 5 stars because they sold my house at the price we agreed, and had an offer at the first showing the day after listing, and they were able to get me a 60 day closing (instead of a rent-back) during an extremely fast-paced market.
However this was possibly the easiest time in recent history to sell a house. I was negatively surprised I didnt have more showings (2) and offers (1). I had a mixed experience with the team structure that Bethany uses. The listing consultant was great, super friendly and answered my calls on the weekend; the agent who visited the home was also good but the interaction was really only limited to that day; the photographer asked no questions and missed parts of the house (photos were good quality but filtered); Bethany herself only called once and I only called her once prior to going under contract.
The transaction coordinator, who I had the most interaction with, was generally cordial, but did not answer on the weekends except a few occasions, generally seemed rushed to get the paperwork done and left items out a few times. At the time of writing this review I have not completed closing paperwork.
However, they responded to my intentions well and we got the sale done, and I recognize it was my first time selling a home so I tried to have a full understanding at every step, so I suppose a little friction along the way is tolerable. Thank you to the Bethany White Team for selling my home. 2022

Hello, I highly recommend Bethany White Team (Berkshire Hathaway home services) for my complete remote real estate transaction... I got laid off last March and was looking to purchase a rental property to supplement my income...I was looking at possibly Houston, San Antonio, Atlanta, Orlando, Myrtle Beach but decided on Virginia Beach...I decided to go with BHHS and Team Bethany White Team due to their great reviews... Janelle was my point of contact and she did a great job of filtering out the more preferable listings around Virginia Beach and looked up all the possible rental expenses (HOA fees, property insurance, possible rental comparisons) ..She did a great job of providing video tours of 2 properties I was interested in and gave good reminders during the bidding process..(She should be a director!).After my bid got accepted, I worked with the transaction Coordinator, Amanda for the 2nd half of the transaction...The property I made a bid for needed some repairs..I was a little bit freaked out if there was something major..Amanda did a great job of being proactive and sending out a contractor to get an estimate ASAP.. And more importantly, I was really impressed on how she negotiated a credit from the seller for the repairs.....I had a lot of anxiety considering this was a completely remote transaction but everything was smooth sailing when our transaction finally closed..Some people say a disadvantage of going through a larger real estate company is that you don't get the time and attention from their agents since they have more on their hands..I didn't find this to be true...Both Janelle and Amanda always answered all my questions/concerns immediately either by text and phone...I highly recommend Team Bethany White Team and will go to them in the future.. 2022
Simply put, Bethany's team produced the results we were hoping for. We got our home listed with an ambitious closing date. Bethany's team posted our listing with an aggressive price and the transaction coordinators brought in the deal. Resourcefully, they were even able to coordinate agreed repairs (minimal) within 2 business days and arranged to have the payments made out of the closing proceeds. We remained out of state for about 85% of the process start to finish. Overall a good business experience. With a real estate background ourselves in Florida, we did initially find their process to seem a bit disconnected. It may be just that we haven't yet grown large enough to have multiple points of contacts! 2022

The biggest VIP of our entire experience was our transaction coordinator, Christina. From the beginning, Christina was incredibly knowledgeable, responsive, patient, helpful, articulate, communicative, and empathetic. Our overall transaction was a fairly long and involved process due to a lot of back and forth with the seller, multiple re-inspections of the house, and challenges with our lender. Christina was unbelievably professional and totally unflappable throughout the entire process and did a great job explaining things in laymen's terms for us. When third-party players werent pulling their weight and doing their part, Christina held them accountable and advocated on our behalf with them.
