Business Philosophy Julie Dempsey has been serving buyers and sellers in Sonoma, Marin and Lake Counties for 25 years. Native to Sonoma County, Julie has experience in all facets of real estate market within the North Bay. With a strong client base of repeat and referral customers, Julie commitments to her clients and offers them innovative, high tech solutions for buying and selling real property without losing the personal touch. Julie works with her clients to discover their needs and how best to communicate with them during the home buying or home selling process. Area of Expertise Julie Dempsey is a full time REALTOR, working with all licensed agents in the area and sometimes out of the area to successfully sell or purchase a client's home. Julie is an expert on single family homes and multi family homes up to four units. When selling a property Julie has an extensive array of tools in her tool box to market the house successfully to as many prospects as possible, with the goal of getting the best offer possible for the seller. Some of those tools include: a complete analysis of the value of the home, establishing a timeline for the sale, a walk through the property to recommend any repairs that would help the seller realize as much equity as possible, and an introduction to a team of professionals (escrow officers, inspectors, handymen, lenders etc.) who have been vetted. Beyond the first initial steps, Julie makes sure to communicate with the sellers often, discussing any feedback that may have been received from prospective buyers. Her ability to negotiate a contract has been supplemented from Pepperdine University Straus Institute with 26 hours in mediation training. When representing a buyer Julie makes sure to include introductions to local lending institutions or brokers if needed. She will develop a plan with the buyer to discover communities of interest, what features of a home are vital to the purchaser and what features are desired. Julie will expose the buyer to all potential properties on the market within the scope of the buyers detailed plan. She will be sure to relay all important facts of the property to the buyer throughout the purchasing process. Once an offer has been written, Julie will use her years of experience through many different markets to successfully negotiate the best possible contract for the buyer. Julie will help schedule any professional inspections that might be wanted and help explain any terms unknown to the buyer. Julie does review all closing documents and attends the closing appointment with the buyer and escrow officer. Personal Background Julie Dempsey is a native of Sonoma County, having attended local schools and lived in many of the communities in Sonoma County. She attended Cal Poly Humboldt and Sonoma State University. She has been involved at the local and state level of the Association of REALTORS for over 10 years, currently serving on the California Association of REALTORS Board of Directors. Julie is a retired basketball referee which she enjoyed for 30 years. She was fortunate enough to be able to work up from CYO Youth basketball to the level of Division II Womens Basketball.
