Fun fact: In Lincoln County, you can find the the Wonder Tower - also known as the "Wonder View Tower" - in the town of Genoa. Built in 1926, it is an 80-foot tall, seven-story observation tower that provided early visitors with stunning views of the surrounding landscape, including the distant Rocky Mountains. At one time, it was known as the "highest point between New York and Denver" due to the tower's elevation of 5,751 feet above sea level.
