With over 20 years of business owner experience, Designated Managing Broker and Owner Elizabeth Wright, is a multi-licensed professional within the state of Illinois. She has earned two undergraduate degrees from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and has completed two years of rigorous graduate education in Urban Planning and economic statistical analysis.
In Real Estate, Elizabeth became a savvy multi-million-dollar producer who acquired extensive market expertise. Licensed as a Managing Broker since 2003, and a Certified Residential Appraiser since 2007, Elizabeth has learned the ins and outs of the real estate market while managing and building her business. She has years of experience in managing the real estate transaction process which includes but is not limited to, the development and execution of marketing campaigns, negotiating sales, administering closings for buyer clients, training and mentoring new agents, working actively with investor clients through the acquisition of complex investment property, applying for city permits, & conducting pre-liminary title searches. As a certified residential appraiser, she also possesses a keen understanding of real estate values as she has appraised hundreds of properties for banks & institutions and has contributed towards a few commercial appraisal development reports.
Shortly after the housing crash of 2008-9, she began to research the legal aspects of loan origination, securitization, the legal foreclosure processes, and affirmative defenses within her jurisdiction. This research led to an opportunity to work with a mortgage company-turned law firm, to help sub-prime borrowers either modify their current mortgage or provide an exit strategy. Elizabeth restructured each mortgage loan for prospective clients prior to facilitating the attorney-client agreement and oversaw the client through their unique process. While she out-performed every analyst at the firm, Elizabeth was unsatisfied with her restricted contributions in safeguarding that the clients needs were fulfilled, as promised.
Elizabeth then entered academia. This temporary shift was motivated by three factors: the current economic market conditions, her personal enrichment goals, and her burning desire to help people establish and sustain financial independence and prosperity. After completing her Associates degree and a Business Anthropology certificate program at the College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn IL with a 4.0 GPA, Elizabeth continued to complete two degrees at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign; a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture & Consumer Economics with a concentration in Environmental Economics & Policy, and a Bachelor of Arts in Socio-Cultural & Linguistic Anthropology, earning Latin honors in both programs. She then continued her studies and designed a graduate program between two disciplines; the Master of Urban Planning within the College of Fine and Applied Arts (FAA) and the Master of Science in Agriculture & Consumer Economics within the College of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences (ACES). She accented her curriculum with Business and Finance courses from Geis College of Business in Small Business Consulting and Real Estate Financial Markets. Academic highlight: Elizabeth Wright was a 2012 accepted applicant and received an invitation to read for the B.A in Land Economy at Hughes Hall, University of Cambridge, in England.
