Lauren grew up in a real estate family and started her career leasing residential units in downtown Chicago over 13 years ago. Today, Mitrick specializes in residential and commercial sales, as well as leasing. As a Chicago native, she is a third generation Realtor. Lauren has earned her ABR, CNE, and ADPR designations and holds a bachelor in marketing from the University of Illinois where she graduated with honors and distinction. Most recently Lauren was featured in the 2012 January issue of FORBES and honored as one of their "30 Under 30" in their real estate category. In 2010 Mitrick was selected as one of the National Association of Realtors "30 Under 30" from young professionals across the country that are making a difference and appeared on the cover of the June issue of Realtor Magazine. Chicago Agent Magazine named Mitrick as one of their "Who's Who in Chicago Real Estate" in 2008 and again in 2010. Mitrick was the youngest president to serve the Chicago chapter of the Women's Council of Realtors in 2009 and under her direction the chapter received the Silver Excellence Award. Her great insight and experience has led to numerous features for Chicago Realtor Magazine, ABC 7, and NBC news in Chicago. She continues to serve the real estate community by volunteering on numerous committees and sits on the board of directors for both the Chicago and National Assocation of Realtors which represents over 1 million Realtors. Mitrick is also an active member of the University of Illinois Campus Alumni Advisory Board where she helps select recipients for coveted awards such as the City Partner Award. In her spare time Mitrick also enjoys volunteering at the Chicago's Children Memorial Hospital.
