Hi, Im Ed Bowen and I grew up in Pawnee. I have lived in the Springfield area most of my life. Pawnee is where my wife and I decided to raise our 4 children, near family and friends. I worked as a union Sheet Metal Worker for 25 years where I gained a vast knowledge of construction. I worked hard early in my career to achieve a reputation as a quality craftsman, then I was given the responsibility of being a Field foreman. As a foreman I acquired a unique ability to coordinate my work with the other trades who were installing their work. I found that listening to their needs helped me to understand how we could coordinate our work together instead of just telling them what I wanted. This helped me to be one of the best Field Foreman at communicating and coordinating my work as I documented everything properly. These skills have truly helped me in assisting others buy and sell their homes. Listening to my clients needs first is the key to my serving them successfully. I would truly enjoy listening to your needs. I have always enjoyed spending time with my family and helping in the community. I have been a Cub Scout leader, Ive coached community sports with my children. I served 2 terms as a Pawnee School Board member. I am very active in my church. Ive taught many youth Sunday school and adult classes. Activities like teaching a small child the proper way to throw a ball or delivering a food basket at Christmas are the most rewarding things I have ever done. It is out of this desire to help others that has brought me to the real estate profession. I have found that helping someone sell their home or buy their dream home is very rewarding and I am truly looking forward to helping many others in this way.
