Good morning YAll! Decided to give you a little background or refresher about me. I was a small town girl born and raised on a farm outside Princeton Ky (remember for later I have never lived more then 10 miles away from the home I grew up in). I am a wife for 22 years to a wonderful man and a mother of 2 beautiful children Joe Dan and Jacey. Joe Dan has recently blessed me with a beautiful daughter in-law Kayla. I was a homemaker until both of my children went to school and still wanted to be home in the summer to enjoy them so I went to work in the local school so I would be home when they were out of school. Working for the school I basically worked to pay for the gas to take us to school and buy some groceries. Coming home from fall break 2014 my husband suggested that I should look in to getting my Real Estate License. Scary idea to me. Being a Realtor! I had never really done anything or even thought about being anything other than a Mother and Wife. A real career waits a minute A REAL CAREER I could do something for myself and actual help my family outside of the home. So, I did my research about it and figured out WOW I can do this. I finished my Real Estate school, passed my exam and received my Kentucky Real Estate License Dec. 2014. Off I go selling Real Estate and found out I love working with buyers, sellers, and doing all the work to make sure everything goes as smoothly as it possible can. Helping someone reaching a dream is an awesome feeling even if my part is just a small part. Meanwhile while on vacation at Gulf Shores for a few years my husband and I had been talking about buying a vacation property to use and as an investment for the future but for some reason it just was not working out for use to do it. The dream stayed a dream. In 2016 we started discussing moving to Gulf Shores area after we get the last child in college but God had other plans. He put a lot for sale in a beautiful water front subdivision, at a price we could not turndown. We purchase it with planes to eventually build a house on it, but at the time we settled for putting a camper on it so we could be there as much as possible. People let me tell you we went south every time we could. By the spring of 2017 God changed our plans. We knew it was time to sell our home, the one we built on my family farm. Buy something and move to Baldwin co Alabama. How were we to do all this?? God made everything fall in to place, all we had to do was follow. In December 2017 we loaded a U-Haul truck and moved 10 Hrs. to a small community on Plash island, a small island just northwest of Gulf Shores. (Remember I said I had never lived more then 10 miles from home. Neither had any of my family). I went from being a Kentucky Farm Girl to being an ISLAND GIRL!!!! And loving every minute of it.
No matter what you are looking for: investment property, a second home, or come to live life on the Island call, text, or message me and lets make it happen for you too.
P.S. If anyone is wondering if they move, is there work available? YES, most business have help wanted signs up. This area is the 13th fastest growing area in the US. This area has so much to offer.
